Why polish?

The purpose of polishing a concrete floor is to make it more attractive, dust free, durable and easy to maintain. Most every structurally sound concrete floor, old or new, can be polished to a durable, dust-free, glossy, low maintenance finish.

DuraShine from start to finish

Take full advantage of the complete DuraShine System during the polishing process. The system offers a comprehensive line of diamond tools and chemicals to take you through the grinding, honing, densifying, polishing and maintaining steps.

The QuickClick system ensures that changing from one tool to another is done quickly to get you through each step efficiently. The time and cost savings are substantial.

If the floor requires sealing or coating, use DuraCoat for excellent protection against chemicals and wear.

DuraMetal

Ideal for floors that require preparation before the polishing steps.

DuraPad Hybrid

If the floor is in good enough shape, it may be possible to bypass the DuraMetal and use the DuraPad Hybrids for the initial preparation steps.

After the preparation steps, continue the grit sequence with the DuraPad beginning with the next highest grit.

DuraTough Densifier

It's always best to densify after 100 or 200 grit or both if working on soft concrete. After densifying continue the grit sequence from where you left off.
